Product Details

This offering is for the pictured German/French K98 Mauser Rifle. In nice looking condition, produced at the end of WW2 in the Mauser Oberndorf factory under French direction between August 1945 and May 1946.

A great variation of the legendary K98 Mauser that has French matching serial numbers bolt to receiver and was made from left over German inspected late war parts.

Blued finish on the metal with average light wear. French butt swivel added to the side. Aftermarket cleaning rod added. Bolt action repeater appears mechanically fine.

Sound laminated wood stock set with typical small scuffs and stains from use.

Chambered in 8mm Mauser the bore is brite with very good rifling, light frost. Not import marked.

Makes a good rifle for the collector.
