Item #4684 This offering is for the pictured Japanese Type 32 WW2 Cavalry Sword. In good looking condition and produced at the Tokyo Arsenals for use with mounted troopers. This design adopted in 1899 and served from the Russo-Japanese War thru WW2.
Serial numbers no longer match. 35.5 inches in overall length with a 30 inch blade, wood and steel checkered grip shows ample wear, leather finger loop is intact. Finish wear to the metal grip areas. The tin lock that engages the scabbard is broken.
Blade is brite with minor pitting spots in the fuller, this has been cleaned and sharpened.
Original steel scabbard is blued with some finish wear and a small dents and patina toward the tip.
Makes a good item for the collector.
Just this 1 available.
