US M1 Carbine. A WW2 era firearm, maker marked from Winchester for the war effort.
Good overall look and likely refurbished over its service life. Sound American hardwood stock set, circle P stamped on the rip, RIA EB cartuche on the left side, few scuffs or compressions from long service.
Metal finish is mostly gray parkerize, thinning on the W marked barrel and sharp edges. Blued 15 round IS marked magazine. This has the adjustable rear sight that covers the Winchester logo on the receiver. Chambered in .30 Carbine the bore is brite with very good rifling, minor frost specks. Not import marked. Makes a fine item for the military collector.
