Brazilian Mauser M954 Short Rifle. In only good looking condition and most of the M954's are fairly well used rifles. Produced in Brazil from the Itajuba arsenals and purpose built in the 1950's in military caliber 30-06.

Metal finish is worn to a gun metal gray with only traced of blue present. Bold military crest atop the receiver with matching serial numbers bolt to receiver.

Hardwood stock and hand guard have been sanded and the metal sits proud at the butt plate top and trigger guard. Hand guard is damaged with a split at the rear. Features the threaded muzzle to accept the grenade launcher, flash hider or muzzle cap and cupped butt plate with a storage trapdoor.

Chambered in 30-06 the bore has good rifling, darker overall with frost lands and grooves. Mechanically appears fine.Import marked.

Makes a fine rifle for the military collector.
