This offering is for 1 of our French Berthier Bolt Head Screws. Like the ones pictured, all are in good looking condition, reproduction items, hand made in a small shop. Finish is a mix of brite to oil blackened.
This small screw attaches the hold head to the bolt handle in Berthier rifles and carbines and must be removed for bolt removal. Easy to get lost......
2 versions exist, this is the small head version, the head fits into the counter bore. The other is the large head that protruded from the bolt.
These may fit the Lebel rifles as well....
