This offering is for the pictured German WW1 Gew 98 Mauser Bayonet. In good looking condition, WW1 era item maker marked from Alex Copper Solingen and dated 1917 on the spine.
19.75 inches in overall length with a 14.5 inch sturdy butchers blade profile. Metal shows average wear and patina with good hard wood grips. Includes the scabbard that has a small hole in one side, possibly shrapnel hit.
Makes a fine item for the military collector. Just this 1 available.
