Item #4777 This offering is for the pictured Australian L1A2 Bayonet and Scabbard Set. In good looking condition and for use with the L1A1 service rifles.
There are several variations of the L1A1 rifle bayonet, the Australian version is the earlier L1A2. 11.75 inches in overall length with a 7.5 inch clipped point blade with a smaller round cut fuller.
Handle grips are metal and has the early angle profile cross guard and lock button the protrudes from the side.
Includes the steel scabbard with a chipped paint finish and grayish web frog.
Makes a fine item for the collector, just this 1 available.
