Serial #18721 This offering is for the pictured Colt Model 1903 Pocket Pistol. In good looking condition, produced between 1903 and 1929 it is essentially the shorter version of the Model 1902 Sporting Pistol. Near 26,000 manufactured, this one dates to within the 1st 2 years of production. 4.5 inch barrel and chambered in .38 rimless or ACP with the unique low profile hammer spur. Popular until arrival of the Model 1911.
This one has more blue that remaining on the slide and frame with grip metal worn to gun metal gray and frost spots. Original hard rubber grips are present, left panel has a small crack below the screw. Mechanically appears fine, semi automatic action with 7 round capacity.
Chambered in .38 ACP (.38 rimless), the bore has good rifling with frost lands and grooves. A good pistol for the collector. Firearm terms apply, ships to a C&R or Dealer FFL, State restrictions may apply.
