Product Details

Serial #4322ZF This offering is for the pictured British Enfield No2 Mk1** Revolver. WW2 produced service revolver and dated 1944 on the barrel spine. Informally known as the "Tanker Model" due to the requests of the Armored Corps for the hammer spur to be removed as it caught up on equipment during hasty entrance/exits of the fighting vehicles.
Matching serial numbers, frame, barrel and cylinder, bobbed hammer for double action trigger pull only. Produced at the Enfield Arsenals, break to design, mechanically appears fine, slight play at the cylinder before trigger pull as is typical for these.
Likely refurbished over the years of service, finish is a chipped black stoving paint over a smooth parkerize. Original black plastic/bakelite grips are in place with lanyard ring on the base.
Chambered in 38/200 or 38 S&W (not 38 special) the bore is brite with very good rifling. Post war British commercial firing proofs added to the frame.
Firearm terms apply, ships to a C&R or Dealer FFL, State restrictions may apply.
